Hopefully, we shall now rid ourselves of a system that debases our nationality and we no longer accept false Maltese who have used their bought citizenship to illegally profit personally, while tarnishing our country’s reputation.

As stated this morning, Momentum reaffirms its firm opposition to the sale of Maltese citizenship.

Instead, we are proposing clear pathways based on genuine contribution, integration, and long-term commitment to Malta, and which are free from any ministerial discretion or whims.
