Momentum connects with students during official Ġ.F. Abela Junior College visit
Earlier today, Momentum held an official visit at Ġ.F. Abela Junior College, where the delegation was warmly welcomed by Vice Principal Mr Roderick Vassallo. Momentum Leader Arnold Cassola and General Secretary Mark Camilleri Gambin were in attendance to meet with students and staff on campus.
During the visit, Cassola and Camilleri Gambin engaged in meaningful discussions with a number of students. The conversations highlighted a generation that is deeply enthusiastic about their future but also focused on the practical challenges ahead, particularly the impact of Artificial Intelligence on their prospective careers. The students also expressed a strong excitement to participate in upcoming political debates and shape the direction of the country.
Arnold Cassola and Mark Camilleri Gambin also took the opportunity to share a few laughs and play a game of table soccer with the students in the common area.
During the visit, Momentum made an appeal to all students, particularly those who will be casting their vote for the first time. The party believes that a bidla ta’ vera depends heavily on these new voters, who are not shackled to the traditional big parties and can find real hope in Momentum for a better, more just future.
Reflecting on the morning’s events, Momentum General Secretary Mark Camilleri Gambin stated:
“Speaking directly with these students today reminds us exactly why we are doing this. They are switched on, highly capable and rightfully asking tough questions about how emerging technologies like AI will shape their livelihoods. Malta’s future cannot be dictated by the same tired duopoly. We are urging these first-time voters to realise the power they hold. A bidla ta’ vera will only materialise when young people, completely unburdened by the tribal politics of the past, step into the voting booth and demand good governance, transparency and a just economy. Momentum is here to be their voice and their vehicle for that change.”
Momentum remains committed to breaking the political duopoly in Malta by championing a transparent, fair and beautiful country for all residents.
