The government cleansing department steals five Momentum banners. 3 in Santa Venera and 2 in Marsa.
The banners were placed by Momentum volunteers during the night and were stolen by Cleansing Department people a few hours later.
It is shameful that people under Parliamentary Secretary Glenn Bedingfield resort to these dirty tactics, while billboards and banners of the two main parties litter all Malta and Gozo.
Momentum has been provided information by witnesses the exact times that the banners were stolen this morning, the type of truck that was used and other details. To add insult to injury, the people who stole the banners left all the plastic ties lying on the ground.
If the banners are not placed again exactly where they were in the next few hours, Momentum will file a police report for theft against parliamentary secretary Glenn Bedingfield, who is responsible for the behaviour of these employees in his ministry.
In the meantime, if you want to help fight against such blatant censorship, we invite you to sponsor a banner on this purposely created link: https://buy.stripe.com/bJe7sK5ac6p0ad98Gu7Zu02
