I am Natasha Azzopardi, a teacher from Tarxien, now living in Swieqi. Coming from a working-class family with centre-left values, I believe these principles are only superficially represented in today’s mainstream politics.

As an educator, I firmly believe that quality education should be accessible to everyone regardless of background or financial means as it promotes social mobility, leading to a better standard of living. In my view, a fair and progressive society is built on social justice, where young people can engage in politics without fear of censorship or retaliation.

I believe in a society that promotes transparency and accountability, that replaces the culture of seeking ministerial favours with a system that values equality and meritocracy. As a member of Momentum, I am committed to pushing for meaningful social justice and building a fairer, more democratic Malta.
