Swieqi Protest, Sunday 31 August, 10am, Triq il-Qantar

Momentum will be organising a protest and press conference next Sunday a 10am. in Triq il-Qantar, Swieqi.

The town, like others in Malta, is riddled with problems of waste management, night time disturbances and rampant vandalism on cars, street furniture and private properties.

Speakers who have been invited to express their thoughts are representatives of the Swieqi Pressure Group, Evarist Bartolo, Mayor Noel Muscat and Arnold Cassola.

The representatives of the Sliema and the Valletta Ressidents Associations will also address the Press Conference to express their solidarity with the residents of Swieqi.
