Momentum endorses today’s manifestation for a free Palestinian State

Momentum endorses today’s event in front of Castille at 5p.m. for a free Palestine, organised by many NGOs, under the umbrella of “Gustizzja ghall-Palestina”.

Momentum chairperson, Arnold Cassola, stated: “The genocide has to stop and Palestine has to be freed from all Israeli occupying forces.The only way forward is the two states, two peoples solution. We look forward to the immediate release of all Israeli hostages on the part of Hamas, the disbandment of this organisation and a future of peace and prosperity for all Palestinians, living in peace with their Israeli neighbours within safe frontiers, and under their democratically elected leaders. We also look forward to tomorrow, Monday, when the Palestinian representation in Malta will be elevated to the rank of embassy”.

Prof Cassola concluded, “Those who have contributed to such havoc have now got to face the rule of law, in primis the Hamas leaders. On the other hand, Benjamin Netanyahu has to be brought before the International Criminal Court for the various atrocities that he promoted: the killing of thousands of innocent children and other civilians in Gaza, the imposing of Israeli illegal settlements in internationally recognised Palestinian land, the hijacking of the international peace flotilla in international waters. The decisions of the ICC have to be respected by one and all”.
