Momentum Joins Protest Demanding Action on Gaza, Urges Government to Recognise Palestine Now

Momentum committee members Katya Compagno and Natasha Azzopardi today joined a protest in Spinola Gardens, organised by Ġustizzja għall-Palestina, against a medical conference with Israeli links being held at the Hilton Hotel.
The protest sent a clear message: Malta cannot conduct business as usual while a massacre is being carried out in Gaza.
“We are here because you cannot separate professional life from the horrors unfolding in Gaza,” said Katya Compagno from the protest. “The suffering of the Palestinian people is intolerable, and silence is unacceptable. We are once again urging the government to do what is right and recognise the state of Palestine immediately.”
Momentum stands with the activists and NGOs demanding that Malta takes a strong, unequivocal position. The time for diplomatic hesitation is over. Our nation must stand for humanity and justice.
Recognise Palestine. Now.
There is hope, you can help!
